Passed away Friday at The Pickering House of Lancaster. She was born in Shadyside (Athens County) on June 8, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Nora Mae Groves Goodfellow. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church of New Lexington, loved flowers and gardening in her yard and was a very talented bowler.
Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Anthony "Tony" Fiore, her son and daughter in law, Raymond and Sue Fiore of Lancaster, her brother: Danny Goodfellow of New Lexington, Sisters: Lillian Swick of New Lexington, Betty (Roger) Shriner of Thornville and Gladys (George) Johnson of New Lexington.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers: Raymond, Dave, Dick "Emmett" and Bill Goodfellow and a brother in law, Gene Swick.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 8, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church, corner of Main & Water Sts., with Father James Csaszar as Celebrant. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
