Passed away Friday May 20, 2016 at The Pickering House, Lancaster.
He was born October 5, 1936 in Logan, the son of the late Ezra & Ida Darbyshire Wintermute.
Dean was a retired employee of Diamond Power,
He was a member of the Lancaster Eagles 2120, United States Navy Veteran, and Junction City American Legion Post 376.
Dean is survived by his special friend, Marilyn Curell, son, Kevin and Sherrie Wintermute of Corning, grandchildren, Brittney and Kyle (Samatha Sloop) Wintermute, and a great grandson Kaden Wintermute. His brother, Steve Perrin of Bristol.
He was preceded in death by parents, wife Ginger, brothers, Tracey, Larry and Randy and a sister Pam.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2016 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home 118 S Jackson St., New Lexington.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 23, 2016 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Grandview Cemetery, Bremen with full military graveside rites conducted by Junction City American Legion Post 376. You may sign the online guestbook at www.chutewiley.com.
