Passed away Monday, February 2, 2015 at OSU Wexner Medical Center.
He was born May 12, 1939 in Junction City, the son of the late Buss and Mae Thompson.
He was a lifetime resident of Junction City and was a hardworking man who had a love like no other for his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sandra E. Thompson, whom he married October 30, 1965. Two sons, Kevin and Bill (Michelle) Thompson, three grandchildren, Dewayne, Ashley, and Billy Jr. Three great grandchildren, Luke,Ryan and Sammy Kay. Many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Samantha "Sammy Kay" Thompson, a sister, Nancy (Terry) Williams, and his brother, Robert Thompson.
Calling hours will be held Friday, February 6, 2015 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home, 118 S. Jackson St., New Lexington.
