Passed away at OSU Wexner Medical Center on Wednesday, December 4, 2013. He was born May 25, 1951 in Harlan, Kentucky.
Claude was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dresden and a retired employee of Peabody Coal Company.
He was survived by his Mother, Mona Vann, children; Kimberly Vann of Zanesville, Michael Vann of Logan, and Wendy Renee Vann of Zanesville, grandaugher; Abby. His brothers: Bobbie (Susie) Vann and Marty Vann of New Lexington and Tim Vann of Lancaster.
He was preceded in death by his father; Eugene Vann.
Calling hours will be held form 10:00 a.m. until time of services at Noon on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at the First Baptist Church, Chestnut & 8th Street, Dresden with Pastor Joseph Offenberger officiating. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
