Clara (Tinker) Fravel

Clara Fravel, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was the devoted wife of Preston “Phil” Fravel. Clara was a proud and loving mother to Glenda Murray, Billy and Nichole Fravel, and Aaron Fravel. She was a cherished grandmother to Brian and Kimberly Fravel, Tyler and Kaylee Murray, Mariah Murray, and Jaxx Fravel, and a proud great-grandmother to Brian Jr., Parker, and Malachi.

Clara is also survived by her siblings Edward, Nadine, and Janet.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edith and Charles; her sisters Dotty, Cora, Alma, and Mary; and her brothers Clifton and Denver.

Clara found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved feeding the birds, listening to music, and taking walks around the neighborhood. Most of all, she treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her endless happiness.

She will be remembered for her love of family, her warm heart, and the many memories she created with those closest to her. Clara’s presence will be deeply missed, but her love will live on in the hearts of her family forever.

Family and friends may call on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 12:00 pm until time of service at 4:00 pm at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home, 118 S Jackson Street, New Lexington, Ohio. Private graveside services will be held at New Lebanon Cemetery, Junction City
