Christina L. Day

Christina Lynn Day (age 41) passed away at her home in New Lexington, Ohio on January 23rd, 2022. She and her twin Daniel (Jr.) were born in New Port Richey, Florida to Daniel Rayzor Sr. and Deborah (Hartman) Raines on December 02, 1980. She married Matthew A. Day on August 19, 1998 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and was a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. In 2010, Christina graduated with honors from the University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy. Christina will be remembered as an amazing woman that lived passionately and courageously. She was admired by many for her beauty, intelligence, and strong will. She had a love for all animals, she loved to go on walks and exercise, and she enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Her favorite TV show was Friends. Her sarcasm, wit, loving heart, and humor will always be remembered. She is survived by her husband, Matthew, her son, Zachary (Amber), her parents, Daniel Rayzor Sr. (Marlene) and Deborah Raines (Peter), her brother, Daniel Rayzor Jr., and her sister, Melissa Spencer (Chris). Christina was baptized into Christ in May of 2016 at New Lexington Christian Church in New Lexington, Ohio where her calling hours and service will be held. She was loved deeply by her family, friends, and church family. She was and always will be a hero and a fighter. Angels have rejoiced to her coming home as we celebrate her life. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, February 5th at 12:00pm at New Lexington Christian Church (Address: 5010 State Route 13 NE, New Lexington, OH 43764). 

Service for Christina are canceled for today Friday. Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday at the Church.
