Charles Potter Obituary

Charlie passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Genesis-Morrison House, Zanesville, Ohio

He was born September 23, 1944 in New Lexington to the late Jack and Vinney Abram Potter.

He was a Viet-Nam Army Veteran, member of St. Rose Catholic Church, an avid hunter where he enjoyed hunting trips with his brother-in-law, Pat.
He loved sitting on his porch watching all the birds.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Guyla Pidock Potter.

Children: Jeff Pidock, Jonathan Potter and grandson, Jordan Potter all of the home. Greg Shriver of Columbus, Jimmy (Crystal) Potter of New Lexington, Etta Mae (Brad) Alexandar, stepson, Charles "IKE" (Laura) Wlliams all of Crooksville.

Grandchildren: Tori, JR., Matt, Annica, Chevelle,
Lathe, Marcus,Dominic & Rose.
10 Great-grandchildren.
His sister, Audrey (Jerry) Simmons of Fresno, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Potter and 2 sisters, Carolyn Bays and Sharon Alfman.


Service Information

Callng hours will be held from 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2012 until 2:00 p.m at the funeral with services to be held at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Doug Wddowson officiatng. Military rites will follow by American Legon Post 188, New Lexington.
