Passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 12:45 pm at SKLD New Lexington. She was born October 13, 1931 to the late George and Florence (Gossman) Dusenbery. She married Gene Keister on September 19, 1951. 
She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, she was a charter member of the New Lexington Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and Crooksville VFW Ladies Auxiliary, she worked at Lempco for 15 years and retired from Americare New Lexington in the early 90's. She loved spending time with her family, playing cards and yard sales.
She is survived by her husband Gene, daughter, Roxanne (Ed) Munyan, son, Bob (Tami) Keister, grandchildren, Chris Fondale, Missy Crothers, Ashley Hasty, Andrew, Adam, and Aaron Keister and Nicole Poling. Her great grandchildren, Sean, Katlyn, Kacey, Caden, Payton, Wyatt, Lydia, Chaise, and Malachi, a great great grandson, Cohen. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ed, and sisters, Katherine and Mary. The family would like to thank the staff at SKLD New Lexington for the care given to Betty and comfort given to the family, also the nurses and aides from FairHope Hospice.
Family and friends may call Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 11:00 am~2:00 pm at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home, 118 S Jackson St., New Lexington. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Father Christopher Yakkel officiating. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery. www.chutewiley.com.
