Betty J. Dickerson 87
Betty passed away June 28, 2022 at Genesis Morrison House with her family at her side. She was the daughter of the late Robert (GUS) and Blanche Shaner
Betty was adored by her family and friends, was a devoted wife, Mother and a very expert cook. She was an active member of the New Lexington Nazarene Church.
She would often be found in the kitchen baking for family and friends who were sick or had lost a loved one.
Betty is survived by her daughter Amy Dickerson. Brothers, Donald (Gene) of Louisiana, Raymond Of Texas, Richard (Lucy) of Thornport, sisters, Blanche of Zanesville and Donna (Dale) of New Lexington. She had many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence B. Dickerson, brothers, Robert, Lewis, Charles (Bud), Albert and her sister, Mona Givens.
She was dearly loved and will be Forever in Our Hearts.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Community Gardens Cemetery, New Lexington.
