Passed away Monday, July 21, 2015 in Zanesville.
She was born December 21, 1931 in Roseville, the daughter of the late Vernon & Gertrude VanSickle Shreves.
Barbara was a retired employee of the Perry County Home and a member of the New Lexington United Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by her children, Jackie (Cleve) Burgess, Nancy Hutchens, Sharon (Terry) Phillips and Robin (Douglas) Clemons.
Grandchildren; Troy Friel, Jamie (Stephanie) Burgess, Tarra (Jamie) Krzewinski, Jessica Burgess, Justin (Whitley) Clemons, Amber (Erie) Figueroa.
11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Jack Sanborn, sisters, Marylou (Johnny) Jones, Theresa (Lowell) Shriner, brother, Max (Joann) Shreves and son in law, Cleve Burgess.
Calling hours will be held from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home, 118 S. Jackson St., New Lexington. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, at 11:00 AM, July 24, 2015 with the Reverend H. Richard Young officiating. Burial will follow in Rehoboth Cemetery.
