Alice Marie Bolyard 83

Passed away on Tuesday morning January 19, 2016. She was born October 3, 1932 in Mount Vernon, to the late Everett F. and Pearl O. Adams Sells.

Alice retired from Walters 5 & 10 Store in New Lexington where she was a bookkeeper from 1963-1998. She was also a lifetime member of the FFA (1982).

She also served on the committee to get the World War II and Korean monuments in Veterans Monument Square Park in New Lexington.

Alice is survived by her daughters; Karen M. (Thomas) Coleman of Zanesville, Betty L. (Anthony) Beall of Logan, daughter in law, Rita Bolyard of New Lexington.

Six grandchildren, Staci L. (Steven) Bolyard of Crooksville, Kari A. (Mike) Montogomery of South Zanesville, Robin A. (Mike) Betts of Junction CIty, Zackery W. Beall of Japan, Kelley J. Coleman of Zanesville and Gary D. (Megan) Beall of New Straitsville. Eight great grandchildren, Stephen, Scott, Seth, Warren, Liberty, Alexia, Donald, and Alyssa. A sister, Betty (William) Glass of New Lexington. Many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gerald F. Bolyard, whom she married on March 4, 1955, two sons; Donald L. and Roger D. Bolyard, granddaughter, Samantha R. Bourff, two sisters, Gladys Sells, Eva Young and a brother, Gail Sails.

Calling hours will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, January 22, 2016 at the CHUTE-WILEY FUNERAL HOME, 118 S Jackson St., New Lexington.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Kenneth Teters officiating. Burial will follow in Community Gardens Cemetery, New Lexington.
