Vicky Ann Hammer Narm, 64 of New Lexington, OH passed away Tuesday February 5, 2019 at her home surrounded by her children and family.
Vicky was a member of the Elks and retired from the Perry County Transit. She really enjoyed the people she met through Transit and transporting many people throughout the county.
Survived by her children David (Melissa) Wilson, Jon (Holly) Narm and Krissy Narm and her seven grandchildren, Hannah, Katie, Kasey, Dawn, Mason, Dallas and Karlee.
Her loving companion Ron Tucker, they found each other again after 42 years and were able to spend ten loving years together. Ron was her supporter every step of the way.
Her mother Arlene Hammer, brother Danny (Paula) Hammer; sisters April (Dale) Thorpe and Janie (Ronnie) Winegardner. Not to forget her every loving pet Ralphie, he never left her side.
Preceded in death by her father Donnie Hammer and nephew D.J. Thorpe.
Vicky was a loving mother, grandma, daughter and sister. She brought joy and laughter to everyone she met. She loved to joke around, tell stories and be the center of attention. Too know her is too most definitely love her! She fought a courageous battle with cancer and never lost your witty personality and smile through all that she endured. She had the love and support of her children, family and many friends. It was hard to watch cancer steal you away from us, but we know that you are free of pain and with your Dad and nephew.
Her children would like to give a special thank you to the staff of FAIRHOPE Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. and to all our family who took such special care of Vicky. She also very much appreciated the support given to her by the Perry County Cancer Alliance. Envelopes will be available for donations.
Funeral arrangement will be held at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home 118 S Jackson St. Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 8, 2019 at the Funeral Home from 2-4 & 6-8 pm with the Elks services at 7:30 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Rocky Lane officiating. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery. www.chutewiley.com
