Passed away at his residence on Tuesday, July 31, 2018. He was born July 30, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio. He was the son of the late Roy E. and Mary (Raeburn) Lawson, Sr.
He was a retired employee of the Ohio Bureau of Workmans Compensation of 26 years, and a United States Air Force Veteran. He was a graduate of Hocking College. Loved to ride his Motorcycle and enjoyed the great outdoors.
Roy is survived by his wife, Susan Goodfellow Lawson, his son, Roy (Nangel) Lawson III of New Mexico. Grandchildren, Austin, Malachi, Isiah, Lucius, Caspian and Zylen. Brothers, Gary, Dave, RIck and Randy. A Sister, Theresa and Susan's children and grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 3:00~7:00 PM at the CHUTE-WILEY Funeral Home, 118 S Jackson St., New Lexington. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Deacon Mark Weiner officiating. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
