passed away September 22, 2009 at Autumn Health Care Center, Somerset.
She was born January 8, 1922 in Somerset.
Rita was a loving & devoted wife, mother, grandmother & great-grandmother.
She was a graduate of Good Samaritan School of Nursing in which she was very proud. A member of St. Rose Parish for over 60 years where she was actively involved in the Alter Society and the Caring & Sharing Group. Member of Perry Country Club Ladies Golf League for many years, Lady Elks and past member of the New Lexington Eagles Auxiliary.She was an avid Panther fan & supporter.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Martin A. Wollenberg, her children;
Kayrn (Dennis) Baker of Alexandria, Marsha (Bill) Patton of New Lexington, Lee Wollenberg of Little Elm, Texas and Teresa (Dean) Stevenson of Mt. Perry.
Grandchildren; Kim (Dave) Carter, Dennis Baker, Jr., Justin (Amber) Baker, Keeley (Chad) Miller, Kevin O'Hare, Kyle O;Hare, Tracey (Jeremy) Field and Josh Stevenson
6 great-grandchildren.
Sisters: Barbara (Fred) Callahan of Somerset & Dominica (Mickey) Ballengee. Brothers; Frank (Rachael) Noll of Somerset & Al (Ruth) Noll of Amanda.
Preceded in death by her parents Edward and Mildred Burgoon Noll, brothers; James, Mark, Paul and Thomas Noll. A sister Mary Rose Smith and a granddaughter; Valerie Stevenson.
Calling hours will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Today at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home 118 S. Jackson St., New Lexington with Rosary at 8;00 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at St. Rose Catholic Church with Father Victor Wesolowsky as Celebrant.
Burial will follow in Community Gardens Cemetery, New Lexington.
