Myron was born December 6, 1923 in Moxahala, Ohio
Son of the late Harley and Ida (Penrod) Rugg.
He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, Veteran of World War II having served in the United States Marines. Member of American Legion Post 188 of New Lexington, Elk's 509. He was a self employed carpenter and also worked for Andy McMillan Construction. Myron was a avid fisherman, golfer and hunter.
He is survivved by his 4 sons and their wives; Terry & Sandy Rugg of New Lexington, Ed & Jennifer Rugg of Cambridge, Don & Cheryl Rugg and Dan & Ramona Rugg of New Lexington.
His grandchildren; Marissa Ward, Terry J. Rugg, Jordan Rugg, Sarah Harris, Chris, Cory and Kelly Clements.
Great grandaughters; Kate Ward and Kayleigh Clements and a sister Mary Nash of New Lexington.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth A. (Clouse) Rugg 1996, His Daughter, Judy Rugg Clements 1993, his parents, and a sister, Rosetta Kelly.
Calling hours will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home with American Legion Services at 7:00 pm and Vigil Services at 7:30 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday at St. Rose Catholic Church, 309 North Main St., New Lexington with Father Victor Wesolowski as Celebrant. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery with Military graveside rites conducted by American Legion Post #188.
