Richard A. Goodin

Richard A. Goodin (Buddy Boy) 89 of New Lexington, Ohio passed away peacefully at his home on Monday,  November 20, 2023. Born May 30, 1934. He was the son of the late Vint and Leota (Hiles) Goodin.

Richard worked at Bryant for 22 years, before working at Diamond Power until he became disabled. He loved making things out of wood, bowling, playing euchre, and spending time with his family.

Richard is survived by his wife, Billie Goodin, of Zanesville, Ohio. Daughters, Doris Stemen, and Rebecca Goodin both of New Lexington, Ohio. Grandchildren, Mikey, Shawn, Staci Ferguson, Nathan, and Douglas Ditter. Great Grandchildren, Miranda Ferguson, Lilli Mai Goodin, Mikey Chevalier, Landen Ferguson, Kaiden Thompson. Great great children, Harlie Rose Ditter and one on the way. One Sister, Maxine Bringardner.

Richard was proceeded in death by his parents, Brothers; Alfred Goodin, Hardy Goodin. Sisters; Margaret, Eleanor, Dorthy, Santa Faye, Ruthann. 1st wife Shirley Munyan,  2nd wife Rose Ann Goodin. Mike & Cindy Helser and Ruby Freeman. step daughter..

Family and friends may call 11a.m. to 1p.m. with funeral services starting at 1 p.m. Friday November 24, 2023, at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home 118 S. Jackson St. New Lexington, Ohio 43764, with Kristin Santiago officiating. Burial will follow in Rehoboth Cemetery.
